· Drawing a circle in AutoCAD is rather simple. The default for drawing a circle is to specify a center point and a radius. You can also choose to create a circle based on a diameter, circumference, or area.
· The following options are displayed;
· Specify center point for circle or [3P/2P/Ttr (tan tan radius)]: Specify a point or enter an option.
2. Center Point
· Draws a circle based on a center point and a diameter or a radius.
3. Radius
· Defines the radius of the circle. For this, you are required to enter a value, or specify a point.
4. Diameter
· Defines the diameter of the circle. Enter a value, specify a second point.
5. 3P (Three Points)
· Draws a circle based on three points on the circumference.
6. Tan, Tan, Tan
· Creates a circle tangent to three objects.
7. 2P (Two Points)
· Draws a circle based on two endpoint of the diameter.
8. TTR (Tangent, Tangent, Radius)
· Draws a circle with a specified radius tangent to two objects.
· Sometimes more then one circle matches the specified criteria. The program draws the circle of the specified radius whose tangent points are closest to the selected points.
